'Ze Traveler
When inspirations are drawn on paper...

After watching S-Cry-Ed one day, during that episode when Mimori was in the desert, and she was about to get robbed, that guy with the Eternity Eight came and saved her, I had this travelling outfit in my head for a while.
Not surprisingly, this girl uses magic, and she's a traveler. Her jacket/robes thing should be light-brown-tannish color. My favorite part of this person is the hair though. I couldn't decide on pinned up hair, or long flowy hair, so I settled upon both, and I like the results. If I settled on the long flowy hair, she would look too young, but if I decided on the pinned up one, she would look too old. This one is juuuust right.
She's a traveler, and she's not alone. She's young and inexperienced. She's travelling with her father, uncle, aunt, and older brother. She's the most innocent in that group. Her family practices magic involving the earth. Earth, as in dirt-related stuff: growing plants, producing food, and making earthquakes.
However innocent she may be, she's also strong, despite her lack of experience. She can be clueless sometimes, but she's caring and enjoys life.
That Office Lady
And in with the new...

This is the first picture I drew when I moved into my new house and was unpacking things when I got my bookshelf.
I personally like this person's eyes. Her hair is a bit messed up, but I guess that's what gives her an aged look... maybe late twenties/early thirties? I personally like how naturally swept it looks. It's because I didn't on purpose made it that way.
And yes, not all office ladies have huge breasts and has affairs with her boss. This lady's kind-hearted, knowledgeable, and dresses neatly -- without the need for DD cups.
The Starred Sorceress
The last entry was an older sketch, and so is this one...

I believe this is the first picture out of my old black sketchbook that I've put up here.
This is one of those rare pictures that I've decided to use smearing to form the color of her dress. Let's pretend that is dark blue. The gloves and fringes of her dress is light blue. The shoes are white.
This woman is cursed by the star. The symbol on her forehead is supposed to be a star inside two circles. As a star-cursed sorceress, this woman is enslaved to the whim of her master. She is obligated to follow her master's instructions, or the power of the curse activates and takes control of her mind and body. So in short, she's not free, and if she tries to, she'll just be a selfless doll.
Despite the curse, she is a skillful spy. Her main purpose is to spy on her enemies and is one of the captains of an intelligence-gathering team. If discovered, she'll just use a simple spell to erase the memories of the victim, and/or a temporary curse to control his or her body.
Your majesty
I'm in my new house, I found my sketchbook, I just got my internet back, and so the sketchbook updates.

I drew this a long time ago. I'm not sure where or when, but I have this slight feeling that it's either from world history or science.
Anyways, to me, this picture just screams power justified authority. She looks as if she has little to no tolerance. I sort of regret drawing one of her sleeves higher than the other, however, that sleeve has sharper creases and shadow, so it must mean she's releasing her hand to give someone something, right? I personally don't like her sash much. It's too narrowly straight. Ah well...
Her hair... one word: elaborate. She has two strands of hair on the side of her face. She has lighter bangs. Some hair is tied up, and the ones sticking out are the alternate dyes. The back are curls. If you tried doing something similar in real life, you would be frustrated since you're the only person doing your hair, and you can't see what's on top or behind you... or that the person doing your hair can't get it right.

Spiked again
Here is an alternate picture of my spiked girl.

She looks more feminine than the last one... younger too. Her corset thing has more design to it. Also, I gave her earrings!
Maybe this chick can be her alter ego or a twin?
Spikes
My lazyiness knows no bounds, apparently. I haven't really drawn much these days, being the summer, my room stripped of any inspiration. Well, here's two pictures I drew a looooooonnng time ago.

I drew this picture in science class towards the end of the year. I drew on the back of one of my ITF papers. Ah well, I messed up on some part of the spikes, so I used white-out to "correct" it.
This person's hair was based on a style I drew a long time ago in one of my ITF quizzes. It doesn't look as good as the original, but that'll do.
Her storyline? I'm going to say she's a villain. Her outfit is too cool to be a protagonist "good guy." The villains always get the cool outfits. Her role? Hm... I would say she's some kind of subordinate, but she's still a leader. She rules her territories with an iron fist, but her territories essentially belongs to her master. This is much like the governors heading their states, but the states belongs to the president.

It's me... wait...
I think this would be the closest thing to a self-portrait (for now, at least).
Actually, the only similarities is the hair style and the shirts I wear. I don't wear glasses when I'm at home, so that explains the lack of it. She's just looking down and quietly thinking.
I drew this on the same night I drew the last picture: last Thursday night before the awards assembly.
Hmph.
It does suck to have good drawings in your agenda, so when you scan it, it'll have lines though the picture.
I was supposed to be doing math homework, and I decided I would much rather draw and use the time during gym to do it instead. In other words, I drew this on a Thursday night before the awards assembly last Friday. That means this picture was actually recent.
The inspiration was a girl from Ayashi no Ceres. I don't quite remember her name though. This was the first picture that I could successfully draw with that sort of feminine eyes. Her hair makes her all the more ladylike, like that chick from Ayashi no Ceres. She's in a blouse, so she must be somewhere important. She's looking at you thinking along the lines of "Hmph," so it must means she's displeased with you.
Grr...
Here's one of those typical, good looking villians whose costumes aren't so budget stingy.
I was bored in fifth period, so this is what I drew. I drew this on a Monday during SOL week, meaning the schedule went like this: SOL in second period, fifth period, first period.
The inspiration was Divatox from Power Rangers Turbo. I was disappointed that these latest versions of Power Rangers had villians wearing the most awful costumes. It was definitely not thought out. It was bright and colorful, and the ensemble looked like some six year old playing dress up. It looked cheap. I think the female villians from MMPR up to PRiS had WONDERFUL costumes, PRLG was acceptable, but anything after it looked cheap. I mean, seriously, Elsa had a freaking spandex uniform with a BELT, and she's supposed to be some sort of dinosaur monster!
You can tell the budget is tight and people are getting stingy, especially if the power rangers themselves have cheap customes. In PRDT, the little horns out of their power ranger suit looked and had a texture of a shaped pillow! In PRSPD, the uniforms consists of a color and a big number. Squad A's masks were from PRiS! I would so want to work at the costume department if I get to improve such horrific sights.
Anyways, this monster/villian/demon was inspired by Divatox. The scales and the skulls came from her. Other than that, everything else was out of my imagination. I want to say she's some sort of amphibian, but who knows, Divatox had scales and a submarine and she's a space pirate. This lady of mine is supposed to look tough, and rough. She'll take out anyone who's in her way. If you displease her, she'll take you out on the spot!
Cheers!
Another addition to my warrior girls...
The girl looks a bit uppidy. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I drew this, but I was distracted by my Japanese video at the time.
The girl is either dancing like, or saying "Hey! Over there!"

Die, coordinator!
This came on the same page as that "Captive" picture.
Fllay Alster, once again, becomes my model and reference. She's holding a gun to shoot the coordinator... like that scene with Dearka...
Professionally
To be professional and listen attentively...
Feet closed together, hands by her side, she's looking straight. She's acting like a professional soldier. I remember drawing this in Japanese when Ms. Cullison came to visit.
Take a pose!
Another EA soldier, but this time, it's not just standing.
I drew this in world history. I remember sitting next to Stacy doing some ibook activity. The girl is just taking a pose... like the ones in the opening song. If she was in an opening song, this would be one of her poses.
Yellow-ness
This ia another picture I drew on the back of my English calendar (which explains why it's yellow). Front and side view of another EA soldier.
What? Why?
Another EA soldier!
She has that expression that's asking "What? Why?" I think her face looks calm, and it's like she's asking a friend what's the matter. This is the first EA girl to wear pants.
Fllay likeness!
Here's the closest girl that resembles Fllay (so far):
The short hair... the tied back-ness of it... and the fact that she's in the EA and crying.
A natural!
This begins my line of natural Earth Alliance soldiers... all girls so far.
I thought of Fllay when I drew this. On the left is the standard, front view of her. The right one features her looking down on some kind of locket crying, and thinking, "I'll show you what we Naturals are capable of!"
Do something!
Another tribe warrior...
This girl is walking. She has that look that says "I want to do something... I must do something!" She's supposed to look tough, but sexy at the same time. If you ever cross path with her, that's one person that you should never mess with!
Cute Captive!
This is probably the second guy I drew and featured here.
This was part of a small (three pages) clip of a comic I was drawing. It's an adaptation of Gundam Seed, and the prisoner is a coodinator. Let's see... coordinator guy captured and is almost shot by a natural... Dearka?
Personally, this is probably one of the first drawings of a guy that actually looked like a guy and seems to be slightly muscular.
More Tribal Goodness
Here's the head of some tribal girl I drew. It's another one of those steel headbands and star pendant girls:
It's yellow because I drew it on the back of my calendar for English. I think for English, it turned out fine.
Big update!
Since I'm such a lazy ass when it comes to updating things, here are 11-12 pictures, starting with this one:

I drew this on my relative humidities worksheet for science. I remember on that day, we went outside to measure things with the psychrometer, and I ended up breaking it. I tried to draw a soldier lady, but this is what I ended up with.
I personally like her hair style. It reminds me of Lacus towards the end of Gundam Seed.

First entry in like... ever?
I'm getting lazy about updating my journal... yup... In fact, I have a stack of drawings right next to me that I'm too lazy in scanning and uploading.

This is a really old sketch I did. In fact, I did this in summer school. It's that old. I got bored in geometry, so I started drawing this at the bottom of my paper. I remembered the paper had answers to practice SOL questions.
My drawing... what says "I rule" more than this? Fingers in the air, long hair... This is the first cartoony, non-anime picture I've drawn in like, a really long time.

All through the ages...
Here's my most recent sketch...
I drew this last night. The character that partly inspired this drawing is Fllay Alster from Gundam Seed. I think the likeness, personality wise, is most apparent in the bottom right picture.
That bottom right picture is the youngest version of the girl. Teenage years, going through things. Let's set the time period to the middle of a war. She's on a battleship, and she has some relationship issues (*cough*Fllay*cough*). That look right there just screams, "Do you think I'm stupid?! I know perfectly what's going on." and "What makes you think I need you? You're the one who needs me! You're just a tragic little boy and has so much to suffer, so why should I even need to be with you?!?" She's exactly like Fllay in that scene... She's frantic, and laughing like she's crazy.
The bottom left picture shows her grown up a bit. She's becoming more of an adult, and she's dressing professionally (with style
). She has influence, and that's what she looks like when she's walking out of a conference room.
The top picture is just a general sketch of that character. It's like she's leaving and you don't see her again (for a while), and a picture of her fades.
That circular thing? It's a mirror, and the back of it has a faint angel. It's a family heirloom.
You love them
This is the last picture (I think) out of my conics homework...
This is the first time I drew this certain tribal girl. You could find another version of her somewhere in my archives. Her staff... let's say she was in training, and the staff was given to her by her master after she finished her training. I'd say this is also one of my first pieces where I could successfully draw the same person in front and side view without too much distortion.
Sit... relax!
Another picture out of my conics homework...
Ponytails are usually outfashioned for older girls. But this one looks satisfactory, I guess. I still haven't mastered drawing the back of the shoes... But otherwise, it looks alright. On the right is the same girl with her hair down. She's quite the lady, right?
The Armored Warrior
Conics homework is fun!

I remember doing this one night on the back of my conics homework. I hope Ms. Chilton didn't think too much of it.
This is a armored warrior. If I could ever find the supplies, I would color the armors golden-yellow, red-orange, and yellow. The armor is supposed to be shades of gold that resembles fire.
As for the poses... I got extra bored. =)
A rival tribe
I remember posting this before my host knocked out...

I remember doing this one night when I was supposed to be asleep. She has a weird headband as well... Maybe I should make her a rival of my four previous tribal girls...

Maiden
Another pink maiden!
I remember drawing this in English class. I sat behind Heather on a Friday, and it was on the day of her first pep rally in our school. We were watching the Odyssey movie (near the end), and I was drawing in the dark. It's pretty impressive for something drawn with little light, neh?
Her gown = elegance.
Pink and windy
A new theme for a change, eh?
This came from one of my Japanese worksheet. In fact, it came from the same worksheet as my first image with the pink ink. It's not perfect, but I like the curly hair effect.
Four stars
Last, but definitely not least, is the very decorated warrior.
I think I drew this in English... I love her necklace. It gives that elegance feel to it.
Twins
Here's another metalic headband and star pendant picture:

I think I can call this my last post's picture's twin. She has the same hair style, and has a staff/sword thing as well. This came from one of my Japanese notes, not surprisingly.
Darkness
Another girl with the star pendant and the metalic headband...
I remember doing this in science class. I like how she looked. She has that facial message like "Don't fuck with me" or "What's going on!??!"
The only thing I would want to change about her is her necklace. It's off-center, and it's irking me. But then again, the wind is blowing <- that way. And the little head at the bottom was the first thing I drew on the paper, but I got disgusted by her looks.
A new tribe...
I've been drawing girls with this weird headband and the same symbol on the pendant of their necklaces... This is the first example.
I got bored in Japanese. Ms. Cullison was with us at that time, and we were doing conversations, and I got bored. This is one of the variations of a character I drew... only difference is the facial sizes.
To start off
I'm going to do one picture per post...
Have anyone noticed that we never have any decent looking male ship commanders? Except for Yzak, but how about a someone else for a change? If I get to create a ship commander, this is what he would look like, but better.
